Gluten Free Medium Cornmeal
Our best tip for fantastic cornbread: use only the best ingredients. Our cornmeal is prized by cornbread enthusiasts because we leave in the germ and bran! This yields added nutrition and gives cornbread an unbelievable flavor and texture. (Our second-best cornbread tip: don’t overmix when adding the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients!)
In addition to making great cornbread (check out the recipe on the package), this whole grain cornmeal also works well as breading and creates delightfully crunchy cornmeal pancakes—don’t forget the maple syrup—and soft, creamy polenta.
To ensure your baked goods are entirely gluten free, remember to use a gluten free flour like our Gluten Free 1-to-1 Baking Flour for any recipe that calls for wheat flour, and keep a separate, dedicated bag of baking powder on hand!
