At Bob’s Red Mill, we’re committed to transparency and the highest ethical standards, from the quality of our products and the working conditions of our employee-owners to every step of our supply chain.
Bob and Charlee Moore opened our doors in 1978 with a simple mission: to provide wholesome food for all. Today, we’re proud to carry that legacy forward as a 100% employee-owned company. Their values and dedication to quality guide our commitment to safety, integrity and responsibility, from sourcing to shelf. Learn more about how we put our values into action through our Supplier Code of Conduct and Sustainability page.
Bob’s Red Mill complies with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (CTSCA) by actively working to eliminate slavery and human trafficking from our supply chain. We do not engage in, condone, or associate with any supplier or organization involved in illegal trafficking or slavery. All suppliers are required to follow applicable laws and regulations and adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct.
While we do not use third-party services to verify supplier compliance or conduct vendor audits, we assess potential risks of slavery or human trafficking using information from external sources. We reserve the right to conduct, or authorize third-party audits to ensure compliance with CTSCA and other relevant laws. We do not tolerate child labor, forced labor, or human trafficking, and will not work with suppliers who violate these laws.
Our relationships with suppliers are evaluated continuously, and we reserve the right to terminate any relationship if a supplier fails to comply with laws prohibiting forced labor and human trafficking.
Managers with direct supply chain responsibilities receive information and training on forced labor, human trafficking, and relevant laws. They are taught to recognize risks in different regions and to mitigate them when making supply chain decisions. Employees are encouraged to report suspected violations of company policy to managers or through our anonymous hotline, and all allegations are taken seriously.
