Gluten Free Crackers

I have two delicious and fun cracker recipes for you all today! If I'm being honest, the idea behind these beauties has to go to my husband, though he did do this based on my socca recipe. So, we will call this a joint venture. Which, I truly love, because there is nothing I love more than getting in the kitchen with my husband. We also love having snack crackers around for when we are on-the go.

So, we are that horrific family that has multiple food intolerances. I know, fun stuff. However, I'm a firm believer that we will always find a way to enjoy delicious food and not sacrifice. Sure you can buy all gluten-free products, but there are too many incredible flours and ingredients out there not to find a way to enjoy making your favorite snacks!

Whether someone in your family has gluten intolerance issues or is just following a gluten-free diet, these crackers are perfect. The light colored crackers are the Gluten Free Chickpea Crackers. These gluten-free crackers are perfectly thin and crispy with a subtle herb flavor that compliments the garbanzo bean flour perfectly. The darker brown crackers are the Gluten Free Quinoa Crackers that are a bit thicker and heartier with a really lovely flavor from the everything seasoning and sunflower seeds.

Now, I'm the first to say, I never recommend buying appliances that only do one thing. However, I highly recommend getting a pizzelle maker to make your own crackers (and pizzelles). These are not recipes I would suggest if you are having a large group of people over, but if you are having a dinner party or want to have a fun appetizer night with your family, I highly recommend making these. They have a wow factor for both instances. I love the pretty design and you can customize the flavors to suit whatever you're serving.

Would it also work to spread them thin and bake them in the oven?
