The refined version of brown rice flour, white rice flour can be used interchangeably with brown rice flour. The second largest world crop, rice is a staple food in Asia where, unlike most grains, it is grown on small paddies and harvested by hand, just as it has been for centuries. Our white rice flour is stone ground from premium California white rice. It is lighter, milder and easier to digest than wheat flour. Some people find white rice flour to be slightly gritty, but many find it preferable to bean flours.

White rice flour is naturally gluten-free, rich in carbohydrates and low in fat. White rice flour can be used to bake cakes, cookies, dumplings, breads and more, as well as thicken sauces and coat fish and other proteins. Best grind of White Rice Flour I have tried.
Bob's White Rice Flour is made above the industry standard. It's the only one I will use in my kitchen. It's a fine grind, smooth product. Excellent in gluten-free baking.

Was not suitable for use
I bought this to make yeast risen steamed rice cake. with coconut milk. I did work with the yeast but when steamed it was like a rock. It was much to coarsely ground and I used Thai Rice flour (finer ground than cornstarch) and it worked very well. I was given my money back and I will donate the rice flour to a food bank. No doubt it is good rice flour but NOT for this dish.

BEST Flours on the market!
We started a dog treat business 4 years ago. We exclusively make gluten free dog treats. We use Bob's Red mill oat and white rice flour. The treats always come out the same texture, consistency, and color. We wouldn't use any other flours.

BEST ANSWER: It's really hard to put a specific timeline on how long the product is good for past its best by date. If the product was stored in the fridge or freezer you can likely use it for up to 6 months past the best by date.
