Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Red Wine Manischewitz or Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 3 Tbsp Honey
  • 2 Tbsp Pomegranate Molasses
  • Zest of 1 Orange
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup diced dried Dates
  • 1/3 cup diced dried Figs
  • 1/3 cup Raisins
  • 2 cups chopped Apples about 2 medium
  • 1/3 cup Organic Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1/3 cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 cup Hazelnut Flour

Instructions

  1. Combine wine, honey, pomegranate molasses, orange zest, and cinnamon in a 2 quart pot. Bring to a simmer, whisking to combine, then remove from heat and add dates, figs, and raisins. Let mixture steep, off the heat, for 15 minutes.
  2. When mixture has cooled, add apples, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, and hazelnut meal. Mix thoroughly then serve. Store chilled.
