Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 cup Sourdough Starter (wheat based or gluten free)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla (optional)
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine starter, egg, sugar and vanilla (if using), baking soda and salt.
  3. Portion batter into hot skillet, about ¼ cup per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges begin to set, 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes. Continue portioning and cooking until all batter is used. Serve hot!
