For a Light Treat Make: Herb and Ollie Olive Oil Popcorn

Sometimes no matter how filling your dinner is, you are still left craving a salty snack before heading to bed. And while we've covered multiple popcorn recipes on this list, this simple recipe might be our favorite yet. When creating popcorn seasonings and topping combinations, the key is to use just enough of each ingredient - and nothing more. Because popcorn itself has a light, subtle flavor, the ingredients you choose to add will create the overall flavor. When selecting ingredients for your next night-time popcorn recipe, we recommended sticking to those that are wholesome and light, especially if you're heading to sleep. Keeping things light will help ensure that you don't go to bed on an overly full stomach. That being said, light ingredients don't mean that your popcorn is left flavorless. When used correctly, herbs and spices will quickly become your best friend when making tasty popcorn.

For a refreshing and satisfying treat, make this Herb and Ollie Olive Oil Popcorn. It's the ideal light recipe to end your night with. One of the many reasons we love this popcorn is because of its simplicity. With just four ingredients, white popcorn, olive oil, Herbes de Provence and salt, it's great for the times when you feel like whipping up something quick and healthy. Enjoy this popcorn as it, or add in your favorite herbs to truly spice things up!

Pro tip:

This popcorn serves as a great appetizer when entertaining guests. Make a large batch of it right before your event, and set it out on the snacking table. Or, for more individualized snacks, separate it into portion-sized baggies and allow guests to grab a bag as they please. The trick to turning this popcorn into the perfect appetizer is to make a fresh batch just before guests arrive. If the popcorn is sitting out for too long, the oil tends to make the popped kernels soggy. Ensure that your popcorn is fresh when guests take a bite by separating the ingredients beforehand and putting them together right before the event.
