White Rice Flour is 100% stone ground from premium white rice. Great for gluten free baked goods.


The refined version of brown rice flour, white rice flour can be used interchangeably with brown rice flour. The second largest world crop, rice is a staple food in Asia where, unlike most grains, it is grown on small paddies and harvested by hand, just as it has been for centuries. Our white rice flour is stone ground from premium California white rice. It is lighter, milder and easier to digest than wheat flour. Some people find white rice flour to be slightly gritty, but many find it preferable to bean flours.

White rice flour is naturally gluten-free, rich in carbohydrates and low in fat. White rice flour can be used to bake cakes, cookies, dumplings, breads and more, as well as thicken sauces and coat fish and other proteins.     Was so grateful to be able to eat cake and treats again. Synthetic vitamin enrichments (Folic Acid) can lead to death for those of us with MTHFR. Thank you for keeping it natural and clean with no lab created vitamins.

    My partner was recently diagnosed with a gluten allergy. I read many, many comments and recipes for gluten free bread--it crumbles, you can't slice it, doesn't taste good, etc. Expecting the worst I made bread in my bread machine following the recipe on the Bob's Red Mill potato starch. Much to my surprise it turned out wonderful! Was not crumbly and tasted like real bread. I'm sticking to Bob's Red Mill products!

    Thank you for providing quality unenriched rice flour! Those of us with MTHFR cannot have folic acid.

    I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing such wonderful gluten free products I can Trust. Even my husband know now to only look for your brand. I have Celiac disease alone with a list of other health issues. It has taken a long time but I now know the combinations of flours that my body will not over react to. For years I was on only liquids, but now I can absorb a bit of solid foods. So thank you again for having such a wonderful caring company.

    I use the rice flour for muffins and add variety by using chopped nuts, dried cranberries and almond milk for liquid. The muffins are light and full of flavor. Great product.

    My wife has celiac disease, and I have found White Rice Flour invaluable in creating baked goods. I just wish it was enriched like wheat flour.
