Details

Wheat Germ is the nutritional heart of the wheat berry. With wheat germ, freshness is what counts. Add our high-quality germ to baked goods, use as a filler for meat loaves and balls, or to coat cookies, rolls, and breads, top a casserole, replace breadcrumbs- the uses are numerous. Just use your imagination! Because the natural oils are retained in wheat germ, refrigerate it to maintain freshness and nutrition.

Even Better than Advertised!
This is an outstanding source of nutrition. However, on your website, you don't do it justice (On the label, you do), because you don't mention that it contains significant amounts of vitamin E, the B vitamins thiamin and folic acid, and the minerals magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc. Also the fact that it provides no sodium should be emphasized, given that sodium is so ubiquitous in the diet, with Review by John / (Posted on 2/14/2015)
Raw Wheat Germ is the best
Sorry to read the negative comments about the taste of raw wheat germ....I love it raw. Raw is better for you, I mix it with Bob's Muesli into some homemade yogurt and it's great. If you want toasted buy that toasted junk in the jar. If you want wheat germ that tastes great plus is loaded with nutritive value go for Bob's Raw Wheat Germ. Label change needed
Wheat germ always tastes better when toasted first. For easy use, I toast the whole bag and then store it in the fridge.|Probably my least favorite thing about Bob's wheat germ is that recent batches have been "stretched" with bran, but it's not mentioned on the package, and that is wrong. Wonderful product!
I've been using this product for many years now & love it. I chose it at first because it was the only RAW available have continued with it because it's a great product. I use it mainly in my homemade breads, & every other day in a banana smoothie - a recipe on the back of the package. THANK YOU for the RAW product! Review by one who loves t / (Posted on 10/21/2011)
Good for raw wheat germ
As raw wheat germ goes this is pretty good.|Beware though that raw wheat germ has a bitter punch to it. It also doesn't get sweet after being soaked in milk, as toasted wheat germ does. ||I always recommend toasted wheatgerm to the uninitiated.||That said, wheat-germ is an incredible food. The density of protein per volume is higher than beef, and the carbs (which are good complex starches) per vo Review by tom / (Posted on 10/14/2011)
The benefit of doubt
I use the product for a drink, I mixed with almond milk and give a good flavor. First time I am trying this product and I like it. It is healthy and will recommend to family members. Review by Central America / (Posted on 6/28/2011)
Wheat Germ
I am glad we discovered this product. We toast it on a dry skillet, turning often till golden, one or two cups at a time then place into an empty jar. It is good with easy-over eggs to blend with the yolk. It is great in the breads I make and I like the health features. Review by Healthsavy Syl / (Posted on 4/27/2011)
OK raw. Can I pan-toast it for flavor?
I grew up with my parents serving plain nonfat yoghurt with wheat germ in it, with blueberries on top, for breakfast. Tried to replicate that taste but it seems like I need to toast your wheat germ to get it -- will that destroy all the nutrients in the wheat germ? Review by Emily the Refor / (Posted on 7/26/2010)
