    I used this to make some cherry-chocolate-almond butter cookies and they were FANTASTIC! I was so pleased with the soft texture and pleasant taste. Am ordering more of this!

    I am guilty of loving this grain and, in particular, this flour. The texture and taste are wonderful for gravy, sauces, and for thickening soups/stews. I also enjoy using this for biscuits and crepes. If I'm serving others baked goods, I mix the millet flour with sweet rice flour or other GF flours I have on hand, but I enjoy it all by itself! I store all my flours in the freezer or fridge.

    I am new to gluten free and with thanksgiving right around the corner I was eager to make my favorite cookies gluten free. I was poorly educated on using/making gluten free flour and subbed this 1:1 for flour in a recipe. the result was less than desirable, very poor aftertaste. I soon found that is just one part of what makes a gluten free flour and want to make sure others who are new to gf k

    This brand of millet flour is a staple in my GF baking. I usually use a ratio of: 1 part brown rice flour:1 part millet flour:1 part sweet rice flour:1 part tapioca starch + some xantham gum. I get GREAT results every recipe! (Not recommended for pie crusts though!) My gluten-eating husband and all of my friends love my creations and no one would guess it is GF!

    Bob's Millet flour has a lovely smooth texture and almost buttery flavor in baked goods. It makes an excellent base for GF cookies! Try it instead of that gritty rice flour, you'll be glad you did! It should be refrigerated after purchase to prevent it from becoming bitter. (I learned this the hard way.) :) My only complaint is that they don't offer an organic millet flour... Please Bob's???
