White Cheddar Chive Popcorn

Add some extra zing to your popcorn with white cheddar cheese powder (or Nutritional Yeast) and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Yellow Popcorn (100 g)
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • ¼ cup White Cheddar Cheese Powder (28 g) or Nutritional Yeast
  • ¼ cup fresh snipped Chives
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot with a lid, heat coconut oil over medium heat until melted. Add popcorn kernels and cover.
  2. Shake pot frequently, until there are 3 seconds between pops.
  3. Add warm popcorn to a brown paper bag or large lidded container. Pour in cheddar cheese powder and chives.
  4. Close the bag or container and shake to evenly coat the popcorn, then season with salt to taste.
