Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • ⅓ cup Oil
  • 1 package Decadent Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 12 mini Peanut Butter Cups
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ½ cup unsalted Butter, room temperature
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 Tbsp Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners. In a large mixing bowl whisk together eggs, milk and oil until well combined. Add cake mix and stir until batter comes together.
  2. Evenly divide batter among the prepared muffin cups. Place a peanut butter cup in the center of each cupcake. Bake until the top bounces back to touch, about 20 minutes. Let cool completely as you prepare the frosting.
  3. In a large mixing bowl beat together peanut butter, butter, vanilla, powdered sugar, salt and heavy cream until fluffy. Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
  4. Pipe a dollop of frosting on top of each cupcake and garnish with additional peanut butter cups if desired.
