Honey Cornbread

This simple twist on our delicious Golden Cornbread Mix includes a generous amount of honey to add a rich brown color and mellow sweetness. Perfect to enjoy with chili or barbecue!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Butter, melted (115 g)
  • ¼ cup Honey (85 g)
  • 2 Eggs (100 g)
  • 1 cup Water (240 g)
  • 1 package Golden Cornbread Mix (368 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8 x 8-inch square pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter and honey. Stir until well blended. In a large bowl, combine the eggs and water until well blended. Add cornbread mix and the combined butter and honey. Stir until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  2. Bake at 350°F for 35–45 minutes, until a tester inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
