Ingredients

  • 2-1/4 tsp Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 cup Milk luke-warm
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 1 bunch Dill Weed finely chopped (large bunch)
  • 3 cups Unbleached White All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese grated

Instructions

  1. Combine dill, warm milk, yeast, and butter; let sit 15 minutes. Combine all other ingredients except cheese. Make a well in dry ingredients; pour wet mixture into well. Slowly incorporate dry mixture until rough dough is formed. On a floured surface, knead dough until smooth. Place dough into a Pam sprayed bowl, cover and let sit in warm area for 2-3 hours. Grease 9x5” bread pan. Punch down dough. Knead cheese into dough, distributing evenly. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes then at 375°F for 30 minutes. Makes 1 loaf (12 slices).
