Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sea Salt
  • 1 cup Evaporated Cane Sugar optional
  • 2 gallons Water

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large container and stir until salt is dissolved.
  2. Add meat or poultry and refrigerate 2-4 hours or overnight.
  3. Remove meat or poultry from brine, pat dry and proceed with recipe used for cooking as instructed.
