Organic Whole Wheat Flour is 100% stone ground from certified organic, U.S.—grown hard red. Nothing is lost in the process of grinding the flour—one pound of wholesome whole wheat berries go into the mill, and one pound of nutritious whole wheat flour comes out. The bran, germ and endosperm of the wheat kernel are all included. Our Organic Whole Wheat Flour is rich in dietary fiber and provides 7 grams of protein per serving. It is a good source of essential minerals including phosphorus, magnesium, zinc and iron.

This flour has a high protein content which makes it a terrific choice for all manner of hearty whole grain breads, including nutritious sandwich loaves, rustic rolls, whole wheat hamburger buns, bagels, pretzels and flatbreads. You can also use Bob's Red Mill Organic Whole Wheat Flour for whole grain treats such as muffins, quick breads, cookies and bars. Great product and fresh lot.
The product is great, easy to digest, packed last month, have all ingredients in reasonable proportion and loafs are soft and flavor is delicious and mouth watering. I did tried this product from different brand but your quality and packing supersede the other vendor. Thanks for having such a natural product for us. We all thank you for the great work you do for all of us. God love those who are generous and honest in their trade, I have always been using your product either through Walmart or Amazon. I make bread weekly and have tried another stoneground organic whole wheat flour, but have found Bobs Red Mill to be superior-softer and more flavorful crumb, higher rise. Unfortunately it’s not sold in shops near me.

My local grocery stores do not carry this product. They only sell the NON-organic Bob's Mill whole wheat flour. I think stone ground flours are the best kind and organic is preferable.

This is my 3rd - 40 pound order of Organic Wh Wheat Flour in 12 months. I live on the east coast and the quality of the whole wheat flour available in stores here is mediocre at best. Poor taste, questionable storage conditions, pull dates about to expire.
This flour provides consistent results and fresh taste every time. I did alter my original recipe after changing to this flour, increased the salt and switched from butter to oil-a huge imprvment on crumb, flavor. moisture content-perfect!

BEST ANSWER: I don’t generally use a bread machine to make whole wheat bread, as I have found that it simply doesn’t do well in a machine, regardless of the brand. Try a traditionally made whole wheat bread recipe, i think you will find it’s not very difficult to make, and really, the bulk of the time spent preparing the dough is during the rising. The rewards of baking by hand are sure to make it taste even better!
