Our foodie blogger spotlight today highlights the lovely Marcella DiLonardo. She is the founder and creative brain behind her beautiful and stylish blog HeyModestMarce.com.
Shes a self-professed recipe developer with a bent toward the simple and seasonal, which is what makes us adore her ideas so much. Who doesnt love simple, especially when it comes to food? And of course, seasonal is always the best when it comes to cooking a great meal or treat.
Her blog itself is an illustration of simplicity and minimalist design, with plenty of ideas to fuel your next kitchen experiment. Plus, she takes mouthwatering photos of all her masterpieces! Which makes us kind of hungry, if were being honest.
If that doesnt make you want to mosey on over and check out her blog, did we mention that Marcellas already written one cookbook (back in 2018) and she has a new cookbook that releases on April 2? Lucky for you (and us), its currently available for preorder.
Heres a little more from Marcella herself.
How did you become an influencer/blogger?
I started my blog four years ago as a creative outlet to my day job, working in the financial district of Toronto. I have always loved cooking and baking, so my blog was a way for me to document my latest creations in the kitchen. As it began to grow into a full-time endeavor, I left my day job to pursue a career in recipe developing and photography. Two years ago, I landed my first cookbook deal which comes out this spring! The book is titled Bake the Seasons and will be released on April 2nd.
What started your journey into health?
I began my shift towards healthy eating when I was in university. I focused on eating more fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. To this day, I continue this focus and it makes me feel so much better throughout the day.
