Snickerdoodle Cookies

4 Baking Recipes That Take 30 Minutes or Less | Bob's Red Mill Blog Can anyone resist a snickerdoodle? We think not! This recipe is so simple, even your kiddos could join in and offer a helping hand. We use our very own Organic Unbleached White All-Purpose Flour, mixed with cream of tartar, cinnamon, salt and baking powder. These dry ingredients are mixed with butter, sugar and eggs until everything is well combined. You should have a nice dough that you can roll around in your hand to make little balls. This is where the kids can have a blast and help you roll them. Once youve rolled them, toss them in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar, and line them up on a cookie tray with parchment paper. This recipe yields about 36 cookies once all is said and done, as long as you keep the balls about 1 inch in diameter.

Gluten Free Almond Blossoms

4 Baking Recipes That Take 30 Minutes or Less | Bob's Red Mill Blog Almond blossoms are a traditional Christmas staple, but who says they have to be relegated only to Christmas? You can really make them for any occasion! The best part about this recipe is its gluten free, using our Gluten Free 1-to-1 Baking Flour with almond flour and baking soda. Both granulated sugar and light brown sugar sweeten up these tasty treats, while vanilla extract adds a hint of flavor. We use almond butter for these, but you could easily swap it out for peanut butter instead. Note that these cookies do require a bit of rest time in the fridge so the dough can slightly harden. Once you have them rolled into 1-inch balls, you can coat them in sugar and toss them in the oven for cooking. Press a chocolate kiss into the warm center and allow them to set. So delish!

Double Chocolate Espresso Cookies

4 Baking Recipes That Take 30 Minutes or Less | Bob's Red Mill Blog Coffee and chocolate, two flavors that complement each other oh so perfectly. If you love this match made in heaven flavor combo, youll adore these cookies. So, will your framily! Note that this recipe does require some rest time for best results, but beyond that, cook and prep time is fairly quick. We started by blooming light to medium roast grounds in browned butter with a blend of cane sugar and brown sugar. Make sure you use a very fine coffee grind to achieve the final product, much like the texture of flour. Speaking of flour, we use our Organic Unbleached White All-Purpose Flour for this recipe, along with plenty of vanilla extract, chocolate chips and cocoa powder. Can you taste the decadence already? Coat the cookies in turbinado sugar before baking for 10 minutes. Pull them out of the oven and give the pan a couple of good bangs on the counter to help the cookie dough collapse and crack. Then sprinkle with flaky sea salt before baking another 5 minutes. Dont skip the salt, it really helps to pull all the flavors together and make the cookies step from merely good to totally spectacular.

Salted Date and Bran Mug Muffin

4 Baking Recipes That Take 30 Minutes or Less | Bob's Red Mill Blog If you are looking for a dessert recipe to make for your loved one after a special homemade dinner, this mug muffin will be your golden ticket. We use whole wheat pastry flour and wheat bran, mixed with other yummy ingredients like molasses, vanilla, ground cloves and cane sugar for a warm, sweet flavor. Make sure you use a decent-sized mug to prevent any overflow while baking. The real magic of this dessert stems from the chopped dates you fold into the batter. Once everything is mixed up, you just zap the mug in the microwave for 3 minutes and end up with a sweet and decadent treat! So many good eats, so little time! We hope these quick and easy baking recipes help to both save you some time and delight your taste buds the next time you need a tasty dessert.
