Homemade Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1 1/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Cream
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Combine butter and brown sugar in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar has melted. Slowly add cream, whisking well to combine. Let simmer until thickened, 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Let cool about 5 minutes.
