Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Dark Chocolate Pieces, divided
  • ¾ cup Butter
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ⅔ cup Cocoa Powder
  • ⅓ cup Brown Rice Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ⅛ tsp Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F; oil a deep 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
  2. Place 1 cup chocolate pieces, butter and sugar in a small pot. Heat over low heat, stirring frequently, until chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. While the chocolate melts, combine cocoa, flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla to the cooled chocolate mixture and whisk to combine. Fold in dry ingredients and remaining ½ cup chocolate pieces until there are no streaks of flour. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  5. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 30–35 minutes. Let cool at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
