These ooey gooey Cinnamon Roll Waffles use our Gluten Free Pancake Mix swirled with cinnamon sugar and topped with a rich cream cheese frosting. Is it breakfast? Is it dessert? You decide!

Ingredients

Waffles
  • ¾ cup Milk or Dairy Free Milk (177 mL)
  • 1 Egg (57 mL)
  • 1 Tbsp Butter or Oil, melted (14 g)
  • 1 cup Gluten Free Pancake Mix (160 g)
Cinnamon Swirl
  • 1 Tbsp Butter or Dairy Free Butter, melted (14 g)
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar (14 g)
  • 1 Tbsp Cinnamon (8 g)
Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar (120 g)
  • 1 Tbsp softened Butter or Dairy Free Butter (14 g)
  • 1 Tbsp softened Cream Cheese or Dairy Free Cream Cheese (16 g)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat a waffle iron. In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs and melted butter or oil. Add pancake mix and whisk until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine powdered sugar, softened butter, softened cream cheese and vanilla extract. Set aside.
  4. Portion waffle batter onto preheated waffle iron, then swirl the cinnamon mixture over the batter and cook according to your waffle iron instructions. Keep finished waffles warm while cooking the remaining batter. Spread cream cheese frosting over the warmed waffles and enjoy.
