  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Butter an 8-inch square baking pan.

  2. Whisk together eggs, melted butter or oil, and vanilla or water. Add blondie mix and stir until combined. Do not overmix. Spread batter in prepared baking pan.

  3. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pan comes out with just a few crumbs, 32–37 minutes for metal pans and 37–42 minutes for glass pans. Cool completely in pan before serving.
