Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 2/3 cup Steel Cut Oats or Organic Steel Cut Oats
  • 1/3 cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 cup chopped Apples or 1/2 cup Diced Dried Apples

Instructions

  1. Combine water, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in a deep pot. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Stir in Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats and reduce heat to low. Cook until creamy and most of the water has been absorbed, 20 – 30 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in walnut pieces, vanilla extract and apples.
