Details

Our Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix makes a light, crispy, delicious gluten free pizza dough. Specially designed for those sensitive to wheat or gluten and delightfully easy, this whole grain pizza crust bakes up to two 12" gluten free pizzas! Top with your favorite gluten free toppings and savor how delicious homemade pizza can be. Our Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix is wheat free, dairy free, whole grain and can be made without eggs. Ingredients: whole grain brown rice flour, potato starch, whole grain millet flour, whole grain sorghum flour, tapioca flour, potato flour, cane sugar, xanthan gum, active dry yeast, sea salt, guar gum.

It’s quite effortless to prepare this easy gluten free pizza dough. Just add eggs (or substitute flaxseed meal for a vegan crust), water and olive oil. The mix contains a yeast packet and bakes up like a real wheat crust. The texture and taste of this crust is fantastic! It’s crispy and chewy and has the wonderful yeast flavor of a wheat crust. Try adding a little basil, oregano, garlic, or finely chopped rosemary to the mix to expand the flavor palate.

There are so many creative ways to use this gluten free pizza mix! We’ve received many happy reports from our customers and their explorations: cheese breads, Stromboli, Chapati, Roti and Naan, to name a few. It makes a very tasty flat bread (cover with cheese and your favorite vegetables for the second baking) to serve with soups and heartier stews. If you want to branch out further, cut the dough for donuts, fry it up and coat with powdered sugar or cinnamon. Follow the recipe on the package to make outstanding gluten free cinnamon rolls with this versatile mix. You can also make pretzels sprinkled with a little salt, and serve with a side of mustard. Additionally, our Gluten Free Pizza Crust has been praised for making delicious bread sticks with garlic and butter. The flavor is also a big hit with kids, so it works great for leftovers in school lunches.

NOTE: Bulk 25 lb bag does not include active dry yeast

Great crust every time
Easy to make and produces a nice crust. I pre-bake for around 25-30 minutes until the edge is browned and the center firm. Then add tomato puree, sautéed vegetables and cheese. Leave in oven until the cheese melts. Tastes great every time.

Love It!
I have made homemade pizza for my family for years. When my adult son developed a wheat allergy, I tried Bob’s pizza crust mix. Now we can once again enjoy pizza when we get together. My beginner-cook son also uses Bob’s mix to make pizza for himself. Thank you for an excellent product!

Best GF Pizza Crust
We love Bob's GF Pizza Crust. We've been using it for several years after trying other recipes that just weren't what we liked. I don't mind eating gluten free if it tastes this good.

I made this pizza last night — my results were good.
I followed the directions. Be sure to pre-bake the crust for 7-9 minutes, otherwise your dough won’t be properly cooked. I baked on the rack second from top. I pre-baked for 8 minutes then finished for 15 minutes — all 425º. I had a few millimeters of slightly “uncooked” or soggier dough at top of pizza in some places, mostly attributable to being directly beneath the sauce and toppings. I should have allowed the 18 minutes finish time in the 15-18 minutes window, to help to bake those few millimeters, but I worried about burning the bottom as the top-side edges were starting to burn. I try to avoid eating any burnt foods.

I have included some photo galleries.

Not my cup of tea
Trying to switch to gluten free just because I think it's healthier. However, the texture of the crust just did not appeal to my pallet. Have been trying to adapt to no gluten. Finding it difficult because I like bread so much. Easier just to give up bread.

Make Pizza at home, it's better!
Please know that I am no slave to a recipe. This pizza dough mix is the best that I have found so far. I use a grape seed / olive oil mix and I usually add a bit of shredded cheese to the mix. I spread it to a nice thin crust onto parchment paper that I oiled and sprinkled with corn meal, thereby increasing to two pizzas. Be sure to keep fingers water-wet to spread the dough

Can you make this in a bread machine on dough setting?
Renee J on Nov 4, 2017
Can I prepare the dough one day early and leave it in the refrigerator over night?
A shopper on Jan 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the dough can be prepared in advance. After it rises, brush the dough lightly with oil and press plastic across the surface and store in refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Let dough come to room temperature before shaping and par-baking.

You can also freeze par-baked crusts for up to one month. Wrap thoroughly before freezing and bring to room temperature before adding toppings and baking.
How long do I let it rise?
A shopper on Jan 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: In my experience, the more you let rise, the better. It is very important to have a warm place to let it rise. I let it rise at least 1 hour.
Would this work with the Bob's Red Mill Egg replacer product?
Sarah P on Dec 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can either use our egg replacer or flax "egg" works too! There are directions on the bag for a vegan option.
I can't eat gluten or yeast. Can I make this and leave out the yeast packet? I don't mind if the crust doesn't rise.
A shopper on Dec 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can eat this without the yeast. Please be aware that there could be some cross contamination due to the yeast packet being in the bag.
I made half the package. Do you need to refrigerate after opening? Is it okay that I missed the" put dough in oven for 7-9 minutes step?"
A shopper on Nov 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, we do recommend you refrigerate the rest. It should be ok if you missed putting it in the oven before topping. It may not be as crispy on the bottom though.

Quality. Integrity. Tradition.
