Peppermint Brownie Recipe

Ingredients

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese soft
  • 4 oz Butter soft
  • 2 1/2-3 cups Powdered Sugar, to taste
  • 2-4 drops of Peppermint Extract (optional)
  • Crushed Peppermint Candies, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Spray a 9 x 9-inch pan with baking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine Gluten Free Brownie Mix with butter, egg, vanilla and peppermint extract and beat until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick can be inserted and come out clean.
  6. Remove the brownies from the oven and cool for at least 30 minutes.
  7. As the brownies are cooling, cream all of the frosting ingredients together except for garnish until fluffy.
  8. Frost the cooled brownies and decorate with crushed peppermint candies.
  9. Cut the brownies into 16 portions and serve.
