Looking for another chocolatey recipe that is gluten free but sans almonds? Trade out the almonds for hazelnuts with these homemade "Nutella" chocolate lava cakes. You can customize these little treats with your favorite topping of choice, and they are great for dinner parties and special events.
These cakes only require about 25 minutes of prep time and 15 minutes of cook time for a yield of four servings. You may want to double or triple the recipe though, depending on how many guests you plan on having at the dinner table.
It's made fromgluten free one-to-one baking flour and bittersweet chocolate. The homemade "Nutella" is made with hazelnuts, cocoa powder, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and pure maple syrup, among other goodies.
Note that if you are pinched for time, you can also use store-bought Nutella instead of making your own, although homemade always seems to taste better. Maybe it's all of that love infused into the making of it!
