Introducing

Florence C.

All I had to say was, “I’m Florence Cabakoff’s granddaughter” and instantly people around Columbus, Ohio knew who I was referring to. She was known in the community as a devoted synagogue attendee, donor, and friend to everyone. She always had a smile on her face even when things were tough and her laugh was contagious. I learned later on that she had suffered loss not once but three times in her life, but she never let it bring her down. She never missed an event, party, fundraiser, or life moment around her dear friends. And when she passed away I knew that I wasn't the only one who she had inspired. People still come up to me and say, “I remember your grandmother and her smile, I miss her so much.”
