We’re mighty proud of our Whole Grain Store and Visitor’s Center and once you step inside we think you will be as well. Located just 15 minutes from Portland and covering some 15,000 square-feet, the first thing you’ll notice (after the mouth-watering aromas from our kitchen) is just how big it is. Featuring our entire Bob’s Red Mill product line, plus kitchen essentials, bulk foods, books and nutritional information, it’s a food lover’s paradise. If you have questions or need advice on any of our products, be sure to ask one of the friendly staff. So the next time you’re in the area, drop in for a visit — who knows, you might even catch Bob playing his beloved piano.

There’s no better way to energize your day than with a hearty whole grain breakfast or lunch, and there’s no better place to sample Bob’s Red Mill goodness than at our restaurant. Every day we use whole grain ingredients to create delicious omelets, waffles, fruit bowls, breakfast sandwiches and our world famous Organic Steel Cut Oats that won the prized ‘Golden Spurtle’ at the world porridge making championships. If you’re in the mood for lunch, come in and try one of our specialty sandwiches with bread made from only the freshest stone ground flour at our on-site Bakery. There are also soups and salads and a variety of vegetarian and wheat-free options. You can also purchase our fresh baked bread and goodies.

We also have an on-site bakery, featuring 15 different varieties of whole-grain breads and five pastry cases chock-full of goodies, including wheat-free and vegan treats. Our bakers are available for special orders and to answer questions you may have.

Come and learn about the wonderful world of stone grinding whole grains on a guided tour of the Bob’s Red Mill manufacturing facility. Our friendly ‘Grain guides’ provide you with a brief history of how Bob’s Red Mill became the leader of whole grains, then explain the milling process and why it’s so good for us. Questions are welcome and so is a visit to our Visitor’s Center afterwards to sample some of our delicious, fresh-baked goods.
Tours are held at our World Headquarters (Not Visitor’s Center) from Monday — Friday, 10am sharp.

Bob's Red Mill Cooking School
Join in the fun by taking one of our many naturally nutritious cooking classes. Every month we feature expert chefs demonstrating their mouth-watering creations from around the world using a range of Bob’s Red Mill flours, grains and baking mixes. Located in our Visitor’s Center, the state-of-the-art kitchen facility is the perfect place to learn new techniques and recipes under the guidance of our friendly chefs.
All classes are performed at Bob’s Red Mill Whole Grain Store.

A Spring Study in Beans with Cory Schreiber!

Chef Cory Schreiber approaches Bob's Red Mill bean based products and creates new recipes for a late spring menu. From a rustic bean soup with fresh peas, to a classic Spanish chickpea skillet bread with fresh fava bean puree with mint, to black bean cakes finishing with a rendition of a Rustic Fruit Dessert shortcake recipes using soy flour. His recipes include: Cannellini Bean Soup with garlic toast, fresh peas and Parmesan, Garbanzo Bean Flatbread with Fava Bean Puree, Black Bean Cakes with salsa verde and sour cream with roasted asparagus, and Soy Flour Biscuits with Raw Rhubarb Citrus Compote.
