Swedish Rye Bread from the Breadmachine

The taste is a cross between rye and whole wheat with a slight flavor of orange. Very good. Caraway and orange peel may be adjusted to taste.

I made this bread but I omitted the honey, caraway seeds, orange zest and the butter as well. The loaf is great but the crust it’s gritty, I did not mind at all. But I think I’m going to do something to this recipe to make it more lighter and airy loaf next time 😊. Just love the smell of freshly made bread to wake me up in the morning. I put this bread in the machine before going to bed on a delay program. Thanks 🙂
