  1. Beat together the butter, brown sugar, eggs and water.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flours, baking powder, soda and salt. Add this to the butter mixture gradually. Blend in the cereal and chocolate chips.
  3. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.



    Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

    This recipe is delicious!! I love the crunch of the 10 grain cereal. I made a few modifications that I thought worked out really well:
    – Substitute Crisco for half the butter
    – Add 1 tsp vanilla
    – Used salted butter, so reduced salt to 1/2 tsp
    – Used all unbleached white all-purpose flower because I don’t keep whole wheat flower on hand
    – Reduced sugar to about 1 cup
