Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450° with a pizza stone.
  2. In a large bowl add in the water, salt, olive oil, honey, yeast, and whole wheat flour and mix completely with a spoon.
  3. Place the dough on to a clean surface and knead for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Take the dough and move it into a large bowl and cover with a towel and let it rest until it has doubled in size, about 40 to 60 minutes.
  5. Once it has doubled in size, place it onto a pizza peel that has been lightly dusted with cornmeal and form the dough to make a large pizza dough crust, by stretching and pulling it.
  6. Add on the pizza sauce making sure to leave a ¼” to ½” inch around the outside for the crust. Evenly sprinkle on the cheese and then the Canadian bacon and pineapple.
  7. Bake it in the oven on a pizza stone, or on a sheet tray, at 450° for 12 to 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown on the outside and the cheese is melted.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice and serve hot.
