I have tried the recipe from the back of the package, and the batter was way too fluid (like for crepes). The bread did not bake through, even after 1 hour in the oven it was still wet and soggy inside. Very disappointing, especially for my little daughter who worked hard on the batter with me. I think it needs more cornmeal / flour, could that be the case? I did not understand how to interpret correctly 2-1/4 cups unbleached White flour and 1-3/4 ups blue cornmeal. Does it mean 2/4 or 1/4 cups and 1/4 to 3/4 cups? Or is hyphen an error here and it should read 2 1/4 and 1 3/4 cups respectively? Thank you,

      Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. The quantities should be interpreted as 2 and 1/4 cups and 1 and 3/4 cups, respectively. This is how all of our recipes will read- the amount of whole cups, followed by a hyphen and then the fraction portion. We apologize for any confusion this caused.
