i read the frozen yeast last longer than the best by date. Most articles said it active dry yeast lasts in the freezer for 6 months .

can u tell me if you bought 2 lbs of active dry yeast and u want to store some in the freezer, can u put 2 tsp in many snack ziplock bags with taking the air out the best you can and then seal those in a vacuum sealed bag in freezer so you can take out a bag or two and re- vacuum seal the bag and return to the freezer ?
