We are always keeping things new and exciting around Bob's Red Mill, so the package you have may vary slightly from the one you see here, but we always promise the same wholesome product.

Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Triticale Cereal/Meal is freshly milled to the perfect consistency for creamy porridge. This cereal makes a smooth morning starter served with fresh fruit, raisins, or sunflower seeds. Triticale Hot Cereal/Meal is a wonderful way to get your energy level up and going and keep it there all morning long. Triticale (trit-ih-KAY-lee) is a very special hybrid grain resulting from a cross between wheat (Triticum) and rye (Secale). This unique whole grain brings together all the best traits of these two plants—the grain quality, productivity and disease resistance of wheat, and the strength and hardiness of rye. Triticale has a flavor that is a bit deeper than wheat's with a subtle hint of rye's grassiness. It is packed with dietary fiber and low in sodium. Triticale is also a good source of magnesium and folate.

Love it
I was looking for something to switch up oatmeal in the mornings so I decided to try the Triticale Cereal/Meal. My daughter and I both love it. The texture is great (kinda reminds me of cream of wheat), as is the taste (almost nutty). I add a little brown surar and nom away. Review by Kaite K / (Posted on 10/19/2012)
