Soy Grits are made from lightly toasted soybeans that have been ground into coarse pieces. The toasting brings out their pleasant, nutty flavor. Bob's Red Mill Soy Grits are processed and packaged in our separated, dedicated gluten free facility and are routinely tested for cross contact using R5 ELISA testing protocol to ensure their gluten free status. High in fiber and protein, Soy Grits are enjoyable as a cereal with milk and fruit. Soy contains complete protein with all the amino acids essential to human nutrition, which must be supplied in the diet because they cannot be synthesized by the human body. It is also an excellent source of dietary fiber, calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus. Our Soy Grits are great for boosting nutrition while adding texture and consistency to baked goods. They may also be stirred into soups, stews, or casseroles, toasted with granola, or mixed into ground beef or other proteins to make meatballs and meatloaves. Try adding Soy Grits to your favorite bread or cookie recipe for a slight crunch. They even make a wonderful corn-free polenta! These grits are incredibly versatile and we are just sure you will love them.

    Soy grits are great tasting and extremely versatile! Even though I'm not a huge fan of them as a stand-alone dish, they can be mixed into just about anything (sweet or savory) to add a mild nutty flavor, tons of nutrition and heart-healthy soy isoflavones. I enjoy Soy Grits in steel cut oats (1 part soy grits to 3 parts oats) as a hot, delicious and super-nutritious breakfast.
