Our Premium Shelled Sunflower Seeds are a delicious snack and a great addition to breads, muffins, cookies and more. Use them as a tasty topping for hot cereal or salad, add them to homemade granola or trail mix, or eat these hulled sunflower seeds right out of the bag! Excellent source of vitamin E.
Sunflowers originated in Mexico and Peru and were one of the first plants cultivated in America. With their crunchy texture and nutty flavor, sunflower seeds are a delicious high protein snack and have become an American classic.

Sunflower seeds contain nutrients like protein, folic acid, pantothenic acid, B-complex vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, polyunsaturated fats and essential fatty acids like linoleic acid (studies indicate that fatty acids may produce anti-inflammatory effects). They’re an excellent source of vitamin E (45% of your recommended daily intake) and magnesium and a good source of fiber.

Bob's Red Mill Sunflower Seeds make a great addition to breads, cakes, cookies and muffins. Try mixing sunflower seeds into your favorite tuna or chicken salad recipe or sprinkle onto hot and cold cereals or on top of yogurt. Or grind them into fresh sunflower seed butter! They are also a crunchy substitute for bacon bits and croutons on cooked vegetables and salads. You can also toast them to bring out their subtle flavor and extend their shelf life.

Unlike unshelled sunflower seeds, there are no pesky shells! Store in an airtight container.
