Great pasta and pizza crust
We have made fettuccine and ravioli with it and were very pleased. We also used it on the pizza stone to keep the crust from sticking. It gave the crust extra flavor.

GREAT PRODUCT TOTALLY EXCEPTIONAL
I love the way The Semolina Flour produces a much superior homemade pasta. The sheer factor is what some call Al Dente, Bob's Semolina makes the sheer factor just right, along with only boiling the pasta for like 3 minutes max. My mix is 3 cups of Bob's Red Mill Semolina, and one cup of white flour, and 4 eggs to mix up pasta dough, add very little water if needed.
Also, the bags that the Bob's used to hold the Semolina are strong and sealed totally. I like the way they are sealed. Because the bags are totally sealed, I purchase more product to meet the shipping limits, and they store wonderfully. Bob you have it all together for me with this item. Your other products are wonderful also.

Can't beat this homemade pasta - my niece ate all of the meal she helped make
My niece is a picky eater. This summer, she had a sleepover with me, and I had a plan. We picked fresh ingredients from the garden to make a homemade pasta sauce. And even more fun, we made homemade pasta using Bob's Red Mill semolina flour along with some basil and spinach. She ate every bite of the tomatoes, basil, spinach, etc. that she previously thought she didn't like but fell in love with after adding to the pasta dough and/or the pasta sauce.
This will be my go-to early childhood kitchen experience with grandchildren. When they make and feel the soft pasta dough with their own hands, they can't resist eating it even if they previously turned up their noses at similar ingredients.
I still buy quality "shaped" pastas, but I rely on this semolina flour to make really amazing smooth and tasty homemade noodles, whether thick egg noodles for homey chicken noodle soup or fun skinny noodles (basil, lemon-parsley, spinach. lime-cilantro) depending on the dish and garden fresh choices for sauce.

Best Tortellini in Brodo I’ve ever had!
The Tortellini in Brodo I made using this Semolina Flour was better than any chicken noodle soup I’ve ever had. So, in our household, it’s the new chicken noodle soup I will make anytime any of us gets sick, or if we just want an excellent dinner! I found the dough easy to work with and hand kneaded then hand rolled it out. Perfect, thanks!
Hand rolled, cut, and shaped tortellini before cooking them.
I cooked the tortellini in a separate pot of boiling, salted water.  Then added them to the soup.

My wife is Italian. Her father is a baker. I love the bread of Napoli. He suggested that I mix one part semolina to one part 0 Flour. I used your artisan flour and the recipe on the package, substituting half the flour measurement with semolina. It turned out very close to what I’m accustomed to eating when we visit Napoli.

The semolina wheat is the authentic flour for making Pasta. It has a better texture when the dough is made from scratch. I use, 1 part white flour, and two parts Red Mill Semolina Wheat Flour. Also a large factor for the best results is to use one egg with each cup of flour in the dough. The eggs add to the higher quality of the entire dough finished product. The shear factor is WONDERFUL for the cooked pasta as a result.

Of course I use this for pasta, but I also use it to give my thin crust crispy pizza extra crunch. Additionally, I use it on the pizza peel to slide my artisan breads and pizzas onto the baking hearth. They just glide right off.

I like to make homemade egg pasta and semolina flour is a must use ingredient. All homemade egg pasta tastes great but with this type of flour it is at least twice as good.

BEST ANSWER: Hi! 1/4 Cup = 42 grams and 1 Cup = 168 grams.
Is this 50% semolina and 50% fine flour, or is it 100% semolina? The back of the bag says, "Many people prefer using 50% semolina and 50% unbleached white flour" but then the recipe just calls for 1 1/2C Bob's Red Mill Semolina Flour. So is this a mixture, or is it JUST the semolina?

BEST ANSWER: This is not considered a "00" flour; 00 flour is a very finely ground, moderate to high protein flour. It has a texture similar to cake flour with a protein content similar to all purpose or bread flour. We do not currently carry a 00 flour, but we do love our Semolina Flour for making pasta as it has a great flavor and texture for handmade pasta noodles.
