Bitter taste
I was shocked at the bitter taste. I will try other recipes, but I can't say that I would recommend this product to other people.

Ripple - Why not make it yourself
Excellent replacement for Ripple... Just mix 1 cup Pea Protein with 2 cups Water, add some sweetener (1 whole date, less the seed or 1 Tbsp Agave or more!), put into a high speed blender (Blendtec or Vitamix) and blend for 2 minutes, rest 2 minutes, blend again for 2 minutes, transfer to a pot, slowly very slowly heat to a simmer with constant very constant stirring the entire time, simmer 5 minutes minimum, 10 minutes is better to reduce the grainy texture, rest until cool, strain through a 'very' fine nut bag. And you have it a very near replacement for Ripple at 1/3 the cost.

Good stuff
I combine this with almond milk, applesauce, vanilla and pumpkin pie spice for a satisfying morning blend. Or combine it with chickpea flour to make vegan "omelets" or protein pancakes.

Perfect!
I started working out back in May 2017 and sought hard for a natural protein powder. I tried nutribullets protein and another well known one and both had a type of stimulant not listed in their ingredients that was not acceptable to me. After thinking there may not be a protein shake out their with no added 'mystery ingredients' I prayed and ran across Bob's. I was skeptical at first but after using it faithfully for 5 months (approx 5-6x a week once a day 1/4 cup serving) I can tell you this is the real deal. It's safe with no added junk stimulants. It has no flavor but that's okay because I put it with fruit (frozen strawberries, blueberries, cranberries and raspberry, I mix'em up), chia, flax, spinach, kale, tblspn coconut oil , dash of cinnamon, pinch of cayenne and tspn of vanilla extract and walaa! Yum! An excellent power protein shake for after my workouts! Highly Recommend!

I wanted a vegetarian protein source free of carbohydrate. Comparing soy protein and pea protein, I found that pea protein is isolated using a milder aqueous process free of chemicals. Although pea protein is more expensive compared to soy protein, I felt that pea protein is better for long term usage.

I tried a few different flavored protein powders and the flavors are too overpowering. Red Milll pea protein has a mild flavor that doesn't over power what you are mixing it into. I add .25 cup to my green drink every morning. It keeps me full for 4 hours. It has a fair price.
