We often have our sweethearts on our minds when Valentine’s Day approaches. But if you’re a parent, then you probably have your kids on your mind, too, and likely want to do a little something special for them. Valentine’s Day is a fun time to encourage your children to celebrate those they care about. Why not try making one of these yummy Valentine’s day dishes to share with your family? These recipes are both festive and delicious (and will leave everyone coming back for more.) Use our Gluten ree 1-to-1 Baking Flour and Natural Almond Flour, baking powder and baking soda to make the batter, and combine that with eggs, yogurt, milk and melted butter. Orange zest and vanilla give it added flavor. Pour the batter over the top of a blend of cranberries and freshly squeezed orange juice, mixed with sugar and melted butter to create a little homemade caramel. Everything is baked until golden brown, and then you just flip the cake over onto your favorite serving dish. A perfectly concocted, cranberry upside-down cake your kids will devour down to the last crumb.

We use Unbleached White Fine Pastry Flour and baking powder to make the cake, along with ingredients like sugar, buttermilk and vanilla. You can use powdered sugar to dust your towel before you roll the cake for a little extra sweetness. We use cream cheese, butter, confectioner’s sugar, strawberry preserves and lemon zest to make the homemade filling. Everything is carefully crafted and baked into a roll of perfection so sweet, your kids will feel your love with every bite.

We use Unbleached White All Purpose Flour and Organic Buckwheat Flour, eggs whisked with cream of tartar to make them nice and fluffy, and lots of butter, cinnamon, vanilla and a pinch of salt to really ramp up the flavor. Once they’re done, you can add an extra pat of butter to the top and drizzle them with a little homemade miso maple syrup made from grade b maple syrup and white miso paste. Your kids won’t even know they’re eating something with actual health benefits.

Chocolate Fondant

We use our paleo baking flour, along with organic coconut sugar, coconut oil and loads of dark chocolate to make this sweet treat. A bit of orange zest is the secret ingredient that gives this fondant its wonderful flavor. Make sure you have at least twelve 4-ounce ramekins to bake them in, although we highly recommend making extra to share between you and your honey, too. Bake and enjoy!

We use our gluten free pie crust mix to make the tart dough, and then fill it with savory ingredients like tasty butternut squash, onion, butter, shredded Gruyere and Parmesan, and fresh thyme. So good we highly encourage you to make extra for the rest of the household.
