Here are a handful of our favorite fall dessert recipes. We know you’ll enjoy them every bit as much as we do.

Apple Cinnamon Rolls

Fall Dessert Recipes _ Bob’s Red Mill

Is there anything that screams fall like the warm, spicy smell of apple and cinnamon baking in the oven? We’d be hard pressed to come up with something. So why not go with the flow and try these amazing apple cinnamon rolls? This recipe makes 12 generous rolls with only 45 minutes of prep and 35 minutes to cook. Of course, you will have to allow for rising and cooling time, but they are well worth the wait.

This recipe uses our active dry yeast and unbleached white all-purpose flour, plus plenty of sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter and all the yummy things. Don’t forget the delicious apples and homemade cream cheese icing either. We recommend making a double batch, they’re just that good.

Gluten Free Carrot Cupcakes

Who says carrots are only for spring? These gluten free carrot cakes are perfect for a light fall dessert, and even better, they’re gluten free. It’s like winning the lottery! Almost. Plus, they only require 10 minutes of prep and 20-22 minutes to cook and make 6-8 cupcakes depending on the size of your muffin tins.

They are made using our paleo baking flour and baking soda, along with plenty of freshly shredded carrots and spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and vanilla. You can use honey, maple syrup or agave nectar to bring on the sweetness. And of course, as always, the homemade cream cheese icing is a must. Top these sweet little treats and share the wealth.

Vegan Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mmm, pumpkin and chocolate, who can resist? This recipe is one we guarantee even the kiddos will love. They take only 10 minutes to prep and 10 minutes to bake, resulting in a quick and easy batch of 12 cookies. This recipe using our organic unbleached white all-purpose flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Pureed pumpkin gives them their flavor, unsweetened applesauce helps keep them moist, and spices like cinnamon, vanilla and ginger bring the flavor. A pinch of salt pulls it all together and vegan chocolate chips add ooey-gooey goodness. Seriously, these little gems are so delicious they won’t even last the day. Enjoy!

Low-Carb Cinnamon “Sugar” Donut Holes

With all the carb-laden dishes that are trotted out through the holiday season, sometimes it’s nice to have a sweet treat that doesn’t make you feel like you’re cheating on your diet. And they are so easy to make, they only require 10 minutes for prepping and cooking. Sounds like a winner to us!

This recipe uses our almond flour to keep it low-carb, along with our vanilla protein powder nutritional booster and sea salt to bring the flavors out. You can use your sweetener replacement of choice as long as it replaces the sugar cup for cup. Cinnamon adds a hint of spice, and when all is said and done, you’ve got a warm, delicious treat that tastes just as good as its carb-heavy counterpart.

Iced Sweet Potato and Orange-Spice Loaf

Another fall flavor that is popular is sweet potato. And you get not only sweet potato with this recipe, but yummy orange and spice too. The nice thing about this loaf is that it can serve up to 16 people, which makes it great for larger dinner parties.

We use our whole wheat pastry flour in this recipe, along with our unbleached white all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and a variety of spices like cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, mace and vanilla. Add sugar, roasted sweet potatoes, pecans and orange zest, and you’ve got the makings of a dessert loaf to die for.

A pinch of sea salt helps bring all the flavors together and then the loaf is topped with an orange icing made from orange juice and zest, milk and powdered sugar. The orange icing alone makes this one decadently delicious dessert loaf your guests will not be able to get enough of. It might even be prudent to make two!

We hope you enjoy this sampling of some of our favorite fall dessert recipes and stay festive this holiday season.

I feel compelled to write this to you. I have tried what seems to be far too many gluten-free all purpose flour. All of them, without exception were gritty. That is, until I bought your amazing gluten free all purpose flour. I made the banana bread last evening and boy was it really good. I would like more variations on quick breads because we enjoy them more than cake. I am going to try the pastry flour for apple pie with my coupon. Thank you for this product
