Hi Kirt,
We don't carry wheat germ oil in our product line but you can find information about our wheat germ, including where to buy, here:
https://www.bobsredmill.com/product/wheat-germ
I tried kroger, whole foods and publix from your 'find a location' map. Nobody had heard of it and made me SPELL THE WORDS.
Hi Joyce! The way our Product Finder feature works, you add your zip code and then search for the products rather than the stores. Please contact customerservice@bobsredmill.com if you have any other issues, and happy hunting.
Hi there,
I want to give my son of 7 years old wheat germ oil, because they are evidences that enhance speech and cognitive skills. How much can I give to him, daily?
Thanks.
Hi Ada - that would be a question best suited for a medical professional as we do not have that information.
I suffer from high cholesterol and I was told that wheat germ would assist my levels to balance. I just started my journey today with 2 tablespoons of wheat germ in my spinach and fruit smoothy and I promise that it worked immediately. Yes, I went to the restroom within 10 minutes which is very unusual for me. This is now going to be my regular routine.
I am wondering is your Bobs Red Mill Wheat Germ
is it processed with chemicals hexanes that "defatted wheat germ" as that strips away valuable nutrients. I am reading the bag and it does not state that it is processed in this way "defatted" but I just wanted to double check.
Thank you for your great products. Patti scanlon
Hi Patti - No, our Wheat Germ is minimally processed. It is raw, untoasted, not defatted, unprocessed wheat germ. If you have any more questions, our Customer Service team is happy to help. They can be reached at 1-800-349-2173 or customerservice@bobsredmill.com
Hi Peggy! You can enter your zip code into our Store Finder to see stores near you. Since you're looking for Wheat Germ specifically I'd recommend calling ahead to make sure it's on the shelf :)
Would you consider making organic wheat germ? Can't find any company that makes it. I think it would be a big seller or you.
