Hi Diane,
Thank you for your question! Yes, we have many Gluten Free products available in our line. You can see our Product List here:
Product List

Any Gluten Free product will be noted with a Gluten Free symbol: a red circle with "GF" in the center. If you have any further questions, you can reach us at customerservice@bobsredmill.com or by phone at 1-800-349-2173 and our team is happy to assist!

If it is not processed in a dedicated facility why doesn’t it say it is processed in a facility that handles, wheat, etc.?
My wife just received her order from Amazon and I am sitting here looking at four bags of organic polenta and really don’t want to have to break the news to her as this sort of thing really upsets her. If the description had that proper warning she would not have ordered it. What are we supposed to do with it now?

Bob's Red Mill StaffBrian

Hi Brian,
Thank you for your question, and we apologize for any confusion with our Polenta. Any of our products that are handled in our Dedicated Gluten Free Facility will be labeled as "Gluten Free." Here is our Gluten Free Polenta as an example:

Regarding gluten/allergens and labeling, as of April of 2019, we revised our allergen statements to align with current FDA and Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA) requirements. This means that any product that does not contain one of the FDA's nine major food allergens (milk, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts, soybeans, sesame) will not have an allergen advisory.

If you have any additional questions, please contact our team at customerservice@bobsredmill.com and we're happy to assist further.

But if it could possibly contain wheat then why would it not be necessary to state that?
am I missing here?

Bob's Red Mill StaffBrian

Hi Brian,
Allergens will be declared on the package only if a product contains them as an ingredient. We do take measures to prevent cross-contact with wheat and other allergens in the facility that handles our Organic Polenta. However, because products that are not labeled as being "Gluten Free" are not tested for gluten cross contact before entering our non-gluten free facility, we recommend products labeled as "Gluten Free" for those with Celiac disease or similar as "Gluten Free" products will be tested for gluten cross contact before they enter this facility to be sure they meet standards for gluten cross contact. If you have any additional questions, please email our team at customerservice@bobsredmill.com. Thank you!

I actually came to this site to see if the organic polenta was gluten free as well. I would like to add my vote for BMR to offer the organic gluten free polenta. Love your products and appreciate the opportunity to make these requests.

Adam

Any chance of getting an organic AND gluten free polenta? I know y'all have GF polenta, but it's not organic and that's a big disappointment.

David Franco

So many of us would be most grateful if you could provide GF polenta, which is near impossible to find. Any hope? Thanks.

Is Bobs Red Mill Organic yellow corn polenta gluten free. I noticed it did not say gf. Thaks

Elisabeth Alliedor

While corn is naturally gluten free, our polenta is not processed or packaged in our gluten free facility, so there is a chance of cross contamination.
