10 Grain Flour is freshly ground on cool and slow turning, century-old stone-buhr millstones from a unique blend of flavorful whole grains that are packed with nutrition. This wonderful flour contains whole wheat, whole grain rye, whole grain triticale, whole grain oats, whole grain corn, whole grain barley, brown rice, whole grain millet, flaxseeds and soybeans. Thanks to these whole grain flours, 10 Grain Flour is probably the most nutritious product in the mill. Whole wheat is a good source of fiber as well as calcium, iron, phosphorus and other minerals, and contains several vitamins, including folate and riboflavin. Rye contains fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. Barley is high in dietary fiber and is also a mineral-rich food. Triticale is a hybrid crop with the quality of wheat and the hardiness of rye. It's packed with dietary fiber and potassium. Flaxseed is the most widely available botanical source of omega-3 fatty acids. It's also an excellent source of calcium and fiber; and is one of the best sources of lignans, which act as antioxidants. Soybeans are high in protein, calcium, iron and fiber. Millet is alkaline, which makes it easy to digest and helps balance the body's natural tendency towards acidity. Millet is also an excellent source of dietary fiber. Use up to 1/2 cup in place of regular flour per loaf of bread to add extra nutrition, flavor and fiber. Our hearty mixture is fantastic in yeast breads and rolls. It makes a tasty, healthy addition to cookies, cakes, pancakes, muffins and more.

I love this flour. My favorite combination is using bread flour, 10 grain flour and spelt flour. I am unable to locate this flour in any local grocery or health food stores where I live. The only way I can get this flour is to order online. I wish Bob's Red Mill would sell this flour in a 5 or 10 lb. bag. Excellent flour!

A New Product For Me
I highly recommend the yogurt bread recipe on the package. Omitting the salt didn't hurt the flavor any. This is my first use of the 10 grain flour and I want to check out other items I can bake with it for the freezer.

Really, really tasty and healthy!
I use Bob's 10 grain flour in lots of my baking. I substitute about 1/3 of the whiteboards flour called for in the recipe with no other substitutions needed. Gives a nice, nutty flavor, some fiber and a wide range of nutrients.

In my employed years I purchased this product in 25 # bags, shipped to a clients wholesale center. Now retired I found a case is my new standard. I have recently renovating a 100 year old home in historic Abbeville, SC. Great place to retire, but out of the mainstream of supply and my new kitchen is 32' long, set up by and for a retired Culinaria/baker. I am delighted to see Bob's orderly transition to Employee Owned and will continue to stock my pantry from 3,000 miles away.

I make a 14 grain bread of my own recipe. Of the 3 cups of whole grains I use in the bread, I use 2/3 of this 10 grain flour. I am very pleased with Bob's Red Mill flours. I've been baking my own bread for many years. I bake one two pound loaf a week.
