Whole Grain Medley makes it easy to turn a boring pilaf into something truly remarkable. Just use this blend of grains and seeds instead of rice to dress up any basic pilaf (or salad or soup or stir fry). Whole Grain Medley includes hard red wheat, nutty long grain brown rice, fiber-rich oats and barley, flavorful rye and triticale, plump and buttery Kamut® Khorasan wheat kernels, earthy buckwheat groats, and sesame seeds for a little bit of crunchy texture.


A classic pilaf is made with rice and broth. It's not terribly fancy, but it is easy and delicious. We've taken that simple concept and dressed it up with whole grain flair to turn pilaf into something truly remarkable. Our Whole Grain Medley is a special combination of grains, blending wholesome hard red wheat, nutty long grain brown rice, fiber-rich oats and barley, rye, triticale, plump Kamut® Khorasan wheat, earthy buckwheat and sesame seeds for a little bit of crunchy texture.

Each of these ingredients is incredibly healthy and, when combined, this blend packs a serious nutritional punch. A single 1/4 cup (dry) serving of this mix contains 36 grams of whole grains, 5 grams of dietary fiber and 6 grams of protein.

    Cooked it in MY chicken stock, and added sauteed shallot, garlic and edamame with roasted red pepper strips. Served under seared Amberjack fillet

    This mix is delicious. After one bite I couldn't decide if I wanted to make it sweet like a porridge or savory like pilaf...either would have been great.. I ended up eating it as is ....only cooked in water and it was delicious.

    I like eating this with a little maple syrup, butter or coconut oil (or other nutritious oil), and walnuts. Delicious any time of day. I'm struggling to find it in any store, though, so I have to order online.

    Think of this as American Quinoa. Tastes like rice pilaf with more flavor. With nutrition as good as quinoa at a much lower price. Tastes good and it's good for you. What else could you ask for?

    This product is great Savory. Cook it up like a pilaf. Rinse Grain. Oil in Pan. Sautee. Add some garlic right before water. Seasonings - Corriander, Italian, Allspice, Salt. Cook as directed or until water is gone. Rice is boring compared to this.
