    This is far and away the best flour for basic bread -- just flour, water, salt, and yeast -- but it isn't organic! So I've been testing dozens of organic flours, trying to find just one that comes close to this one for flavor, body, and that wonderful chewy texture that seems to define real bread. So far, none of them have even come close... but until this flour comes in an organic version, I dare not use it too often. So sad! If I could, I'd buy it in 25-pound bags and bake with it every day!

    I used this flour for the first time in bread I made today. I used about 1/3 of whole wheat & 2/3 this artisan bread flour. The recipe I used is a white bread recipe I love & have used often. The only adjustment I had to make was that I added slightly more water, & it worked great! I think, and hubby agrees, this made the best loaves I've ever made, & I've made bread from scratch for many years. This is the best bread flour I've ever used & I will only use this kind in the future, if at all possible. I don't know how or why, but it gave the bread a soft, light, but "substantial" texture that holds up well / doesn't crumble when you slice it. And the taste is outstanding. Can't wait to use it again. I am so happy that I switched to using Bob's flours. Makes a big difference! Highly recommend!

    I use this bread flour for my baking bread needs. Everything turns out perfect 100% of the time. The taste is like a real bakery, instead of normal all purpose flour for breads which leaves a yeast after taste. I need to buy this in bulk.

    I used this flour recently, and baked the no knead recipe on the bag`s side panel.Added a few dried herbs, cooked in the cast iron dutch oven . Best, very best bread we`ve ever made.
