Oatmeal Gingerbread Men

These gingerbread men are great for holiday treats.

Low Cal, Low Fat, Soy Free


Step 1

In a bowl mix oats, flour, baking powder, ginger and salt, blend well.

Step 2

In a large bowl mix together butter, molasses, egg and sour cream until well blended. Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture, blending together until well mixed.

Step 3

Remove from bowl and knead on a floured surface. Place into a bowl and chill for at least 2 hours.

Step 4

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a cookie sheet, set aside.

Step 5

Remove from refrigerator and roll out, cut into desired shapes. Bake in a 350° oven for 10 minutes. Remove and decorate.

Makes 3 dozen.
