Quinoa Oat Date PorridgeContributed by: Lisa ShepardA healthy breakfast is always a great way to start a day. This recipe was not tested in the Bob's Red Mill kitchen but was submitted by a customer who wanted to share a recipe they enjoyed with others.
Directions
Bring soy milk to a boil in a large saucepan. Add quinoa and oats, cover, and simmer 20 minutes. Portion into two bowls, add dates, cinnamon, and flaxseed meal. Sprinkle hemp seeds if desired. Add more soymilk depending on preferred consistency.
Makes two servings. |

This recipe was very tasty. I had to add a 1/4 pkg of splenda because it wasn't sweet enough. You should stir within the 20 minutes or it will stick on.
