Easy Molasses Cookies

This cookie recipe uses our Buttermilk Biscuit Mix to help save you time.

  • 2 cups Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Margarine, soft
  • 1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ground Ginger
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Molasses
  • Granulated Granulated Sugar Sugar to roll cookies in before baking

Directions

Step 1

In medium bowl, combine sugar, egg, margarine, and molasses. Add all dry ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 350°F. Shape dough into small balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place on greased baking sheets. Flatten balls with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes.

Makes 30 cookies.
