This recipe is a super quick and easy vegan alternative to chicken noodle soup.  Nutritional yeast gives this soup a rich and savory flavor base, while chickpeas (aka garbanzo beans) take the place of chicken.

  1. Place all ingredients, except the pasta in a large pan and bring to a boil. Add the pasta in the boiling mixture and stir well. Reduce the heat and simmer the soup, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender, about 20 minutes.
