Ruthie’s 6 Grain Muffins

We used our favorite muffin recipe to make a delicious muffin with our 6 Grain Cereal. This recipe can be found of our bag of 6 Grain “Right Stuff” Cereal.

Instructions
  1. Mix cereal and milk; allow to stand for 10 minutes while preheating oven to 400°F and assembling other ingredients. Grease a 12 serving muffin pan or line pan with paper liners.
  2. Combine and sift dry ingredients. Cream sugar, butter and egg together. Add dry ingredients and milk with cereal to butter mixture. Stir only until mixed.
  3. Spoon into prepared muffin pan. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.

    OMG! These are so good. I can’t get over how tasty and sweet. I used everything list in recipe. Except, I used 1/4 cup raw organic honey to replace the 1/2 cup sugar. I can’t decide how I want to enjoy the six grain hot cereal with flaxseed… Do I eat it as just the cereal or enjoy as muffins? I think both! 🙂
